Velcro del cabo de freno en barra Switch

Hola amigos.

He observado que con el uso el velcro que sujeta el extremo del cabo de freno  pierde sus propiedades y hace que dicho cabo quede suelto. 

Desde Switch kites me aseguran que en la nueva barra esta cuestión queda solucionada.

No obstante hasta que salga a la venta la nueva barra (cosa que espero con impaciencia) os dejo esta solución sencilla.

Un trocito de goma elástica de mercería que sujete la empuñadura del cabo justo debajo del stopper. Funciona perfectamente. Ya que al estirar la goma permite soltar totalmente el freno y en el caso contrario de llevar la cometa frenada el extremo del cabo no queda suelto

I noticed that using the Velcro that holds the brake end of the rope loses its properties and makes out that slack.

From Switch kites assure me that the new bar this issue is resolved.

But until it goes on sale the new bar (something to look forward to) I leave this simple solution.

A piece of elastic that hold the grip just below the stopper out. It works perfectly. And stretching the rubber that allows to disengage the brake and in the opposite case of bringing the end of the comet braking is not loose out.

Problemas con el Chicken Loop?

No soy el único usuario de la barra de control de Switch Kites que ha detectado el mismo problema.

El donkey dick es demasiado blando y el chicken se suelta con demasiada facilidad sin quererlo. 

La solución es muy sencilla, un tubo de plástico  de ferretería de un tamaño que quede bien apretado y listo.

Corta un trozo de manguera un poco más corta que el donkey dick y métela en agua bien caliente para que ablande. Introdúcelo sobre el donkey dick y el problema queda solucionado.

I'm not the only user of the control bar Switch Kites that detected the same problem.

The donkey dick is too soft and the chicken is released unintentionally too easily.

The solution is very simple, a plastic tube of hardware of a size that is tight and ready.

Cut a length of hose a little shorter than the donkey dick and put it in hot water to soften.Enter it on the donkey dick and the problem is solved

El pasado día 25 pudimos disfrutar de un buen día de viento de nordeste.

Continuo practicando los grabs, gracias a la sustentación que me aporta mi Element me resultan bastante más fáciles.
Esperando por días de más viento para poder probar mi Element v2 9m en condiciones.

Switch Kites Element v2

Ayer recibí mi nueva cometa. Una Element v2 de Switch Kites.

Ya tengo desde hace unos meses una element v1 de 11m con la que estoy muy a gusto. 

Lo primero que llama la atención son sus acabados tanto que varios kiters usuarios de otras marcas han quedado impresionados. La Mochila está perfecta y el nuevo compartimento para la barra es a mi entender mejor al estar totalmente separado de la cometa.

No he necesitado hacer ningún ajuste a la configuración de la cometa, tan solo elegir la dureza de barra preferida, hinchar y a navegar.

Obviamente al ser dos medidas distintas hay diferencias en las sensaciones y rapidez de las cometas. No obstante he de destacar dos cuestiones en mi nueva 9m: Su low-end y so dpower más progresivo.

Con apenas 13/14 nudos ya conseguía ceñir gracias a su gran velocidad y cuando la racha de viento entraba su dpower la absorbe perfectamente.

Las previsiones dan más intensidad de viento para hoy así que espero poder probar con más intensidad esta cometa.

Próximamente contaré más impresiones.

Yesterday I received my new kite. A Switch Element Kites v2.

Already I have from a few months ago v1 11m element with which I'm very happy.

The first thing you notice is its finish while several users of other brands kiters have been impressed. The Backpack is perfect and the new bar compartment is in my opinion better to be completely separate from the kite.

I did not need to make any adjustments to the configuration of the kite, just choose the favorite bar hardness, swell and surf.

Obviously there are still two different measures differences in sensation and speed of kites. However I must point out two issues in my new 9m: Great low end and more progressive dpower.

With just 13/14 knots and getting upwind thanks to its high speed and when the gust of wind came his perfectly absorbs dpower.

The forecast wind strength give more today so hopefully I can try this kite more intensely.
